Assistant Professor Dr. Ulrich Matter

Ulrich Matter's research interests lie at the intersections of political economics, media economics, applied econometrics, and computational social science.

A common theme of his research is the question of how small and well-organized (and often well-financed) groups of individuals strive for (and succeed in) shaping and exploiting politico-economic structures for their own benefit – at the cost of society at large. See Ulrich Matter's private website for details on his research and teaching activities.
